This change frightens some of her friends and her increase in power makes her intimidating. Helen became slightly colder and more focused on protecting her friends as well as achieving her goal. Although the challenges made her stronger, she didn’t come out unscathed. With each book she gained more control over her power, but she also was battered down by a series challenges. She started out the series with a innocent, quiet voice and unaware of her power. Helen has made an amazing transformation over the series. A war with the gods is just beginning and it is up to Helen to decide who will come up on top and who gets sent to Tartarus.
